Plastic Consult at PLAST 2026: Paolo Arcelli presents the Assorimap Report on mechanical recycling

On the occasion of the 20th edition of PLAST 2026, the historic international event dedicated to the plastics and rubber industry (scheduled to take place at Fiera Milano from June 9 to 12), Plastic Consult confirms itself at the forefront of the debate on the industry’s ecological transition and circular economy.

On Thursday, June 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Conference Hall in Hall 24, one of the most anticipated events of the fair will be held: the conference “THE MECHANICAL RECYCLING OF PLASTIC MATERIALS – Report 2025. Protection, to Regenerate the System.”

The event, organized in collaboration with Assorimap and moderated by Daniele Di Stefano ( EconomiaCircolare.com journalist), will open with institutional greetings from Alessandra Gallone, president of ISPRA.

Focus on supply chain data: the intervention of Plastic Consult

At 10:40 a.m., Plastic Consult Director Paolo Arcelli will take the stage together with Walter Regis (President of Assorimap) to officially present the Assorimap Report with 2025 data and trends on mechanical recycling of plastics.

The talk will provide a rigorous overview, based on up-to-date market data, to analyze the state of the art of remanufacturing in Italy, the ongoing economic and regulatory challenges, and the prospects for the development of a strategic supply chain for the circular economy.

Following this, the program will feature contributions from leading industry figures, including Edo Ronchi (Sustainable Development Foundation), Roberto Sancinelli (Montello SpA), Riccardo Parrini (The Nest Company), Rodolfo Cattoi (Uniplast) and Giovanni Bellomi (Corepla), who will discuss standards, traceability and supply chain pacts.
