Plastic Consult at PLAST 2026: Paolo Arcelli Presents the Assorimap Report on Mechanical Recycling
To mark the twentieth edition of PLAST 2026, the historic international exhibition dedicated to the plastics and rubber industry (scheduled at Fiera Milano from 9 to 12 June), Plastic Consult confirms its position at the forefront of the debate on the sector’s ecological transition and circular economy.
On Thursday 11 June, from 10:00 to 13:00, the Pavilion 24 Conference Hall will host one of the exhibition’s most anticipated events: the conference “THE MECHANICAL RECYCLING OF PLASTICS – 2025 Report. Safeguarding to Regenerate the System”.
The event, organised in collaboration with Assorimap and moderated by Daniele Di Stefano (journalist at EconomiaCircolare.com), will open with institutional welcomes from Alessandra Gallone, President of ISPRA.
Focus on Supply Chain Data: Plastic Consult’s Presentation
At 10:40, the General Manager of Plastic Consult, Paolo Arcelli, will take the stage alongside Walter Regis (President of Assorimap) to officially present the Assorimap Report containing 2025 data and trends related to the mechanical recycling of plastics.
The presentation will offer a rigorous overview, based on up-to-date market data, to analyse the state of the art of plastics regeneration in Italy, current economic and regulatory challenges, and the development prospects of a strategic supply chain for the circular economy.
Following this, the programme will feature contributions from authoritative industry figures, including Edo Ronchi (Sustainable Development Foundation), Roberto Sancinelli (Montello SpA), Riccardo Parrini (The Nest Company), Rodolfo Cattoi (Uniplast), and Giovanni Bellomi (Corepla), who will debate standards, traceability, and supply chain agreements.
